Born out of the creative heart of Long Beach, California, The Galactivators have been on a cosmic journey, blending soulful frequencies with conscious lyrics to inspire and elevate communities.
Our music fuses high-vibration hip-hop, funk, and electronic beats, rooted in the art of freestyle and improvisation. We rock stages from local art spaces to major festivals, delivering a signature sound we call “High Vibe”—a transformative mix of conscious lyrics, cosmic energy, and dance-inducing rhythms.
With performances at cultural events and national platforms like America’s Got Talent, our shows go beyond concerts—they are immersive experiences designed to unite, heal, and elevate. Every set is a spontaneous journey of improvisation, drawing from a deep catalog of original music. Powerful bass lines, synths, live freestyling, and high-vibrational flows energize the crowd and raise collective consciousness.
Inspired by visionary artists like Sly and the Family Stone, Deee-Lite, and Pretty Lights, The Galactivators blend music with universal truths. Whether leading interactive jams or delivering high-energy performances, we are redefining connection and inspiration through music.

Galactica
Lead Vocals & Visionary
Christa ‘Galactica’ Everest is a powerhouse vocalist, published author, and the creator/illustrator of the “Hey Fairy” Coloring Book Series.
As the lead singer of The GALACTIVATORS, she brings magic and energy to every performance. Beyond the stage, Christa is the director of Free Yoga On the Beach, a donation-based daily yoga class serving the Long Beach community. She is also the co-founder of the Love Long Beach Music Festival and Love Fairy Fest Events.
A Certified Reiki Master and honors graduate from The University of California, Christa weaves spirituality into her art. She has completed the Mahasadashivoham program at Nithyananda University in India and Level 1 training in Atma Kriya Yoga. A licensed cosmetologist, she also serves as the official hairstylist and clothing designer for the band.
Known as a "Fairy Godsister" to many, Galactica’s mission is to activate people around the world, bringing magic and high-vibrational energy to everything she touches. Fairies of the universe, handle it!
Joseph ‘Saint Joe’ Katta
Co-Founder, Producer & Engineer
Originally from New York and now based in Long Beach, California, Saint Joe is the musical architect behind The Galactivators. He serves as the co-founder, music producer, engineer, and manager, while also co-designing the collective's unique clothing line.
With a background in photography from the Fashion Institute of Technology (NYC), Joe brings a sharp creative eye to the project. Deeply curious about global spiritual traditions, Joe is a lifelong student of various healing modalities. He has studied Atma Kriya Yoga and is a certified practitioner of Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki, integrating these influences into his creative process.
As the lead musician, Saint Joe specializes in unique multi-genre and multi-instrumental styles learned from around the world. A master of spontaneous creation, he loves to beatbox and build songs in the moment wherever he goes.
Joe is also a key figure in the festival scene, serving as Co-Producer of the Stargate Live Music Stage at The Love Long Beach Festival. In 2019, he served as Music Director for the annual United Nations Vigil for Peace and Ecology in Central Park, NYC.
